Vim para Veneza de Ljubljana (Eslovênia) via trem. A viagem demorou umas 4 horas e não houve nenhuma necessidade de passar pela imigração. Infelizmente o único horário disponível era 2:28 am e o trem não era muito confortável.
Em frente da plataforma 1 da estação de trem de Veneza tem um centro de informação para turistas onde você pode comprar mapas, bilhetes e obter informações.
Veneza não é uma cidade muito bonita por ser muito antiga, mas o que faz dela algo diferente é justamente os prédios antigos, as centenas de ruelas e o fato de estar rodeada de águas e canais. Não existe ônibus, motos e nem mesmo bicicletas. O único meio de transporte são barcos que substituem os ônibus. Existem algumas ilhas perto de Veneza que podem ser visitadas utilizando esses "ônibus" aquáticos.
Você pode comprar bilhetes de 12, 24 ou 72 duas horas, sou seja, você pode usar um mesmo bilhete várias vezes, o que vai te ajudar a ganhar tempo e economizar dinheiro.
Em Veneza você consegue se comunicar em inglês muito bem.

I came to Venice from de Ljubljana (Slovenia) by train. The journey took about 4 hours and I did not need to go through any immigration process. Unfortunately the only available train leaves at 2:28 am and it is not so confortable.
In front of the platform 1, in the Venice train station, there is an information center for tourists where you can by maps, tickets and get information.
Venice is not a beautiful city because it is very old, but it the old buildings, the ghettos and canals makes it a different and interesting city. There is no bus, motorbikes or bikes. The only public transportation are boats called water bus. There are other island near to Venice that you can visit by using those water buses.
You can buy 12h, 24h or 72 h tickets, so you can use the same ticket as much as you can and you will save time and money.
In Venice you will be able to commuicate in English very well.

30/06/2011 - Veneza (Itália / Italy)
Hoje eu voltei a praça São Marcos e gastei a parte da manhã visitando o palácio Ducale e o museu Corrér. Depois à tarde eu caminhei pelas curas, vielas e lojas da região de Rialto. Como não é permitido tirar fotos de dentro do palácio e do museu eu só postei as fotos da região de Rialto.
Today I came back to the St. Marcus square and I spent the morning visiting the Ducale palace and the Corrér museum. In the afternoon I walked through the streets, ghettos and shops of the Rialto region. I posted only the photos I took from the Rialto region because it is not allowed to take photos inside the palace and inside the museum.

01/07/2011 - Paris (França / France)
Hoje eu viajei de Veneza para Paris de avião. Para chegar no aeroporto de Marco Polo em Veneza você pode pegar um barco (ônibus aquático) e descer no ponto chamado P. Roma, que fica após a estação de trem. Depois é só pegar um ônibus da linha 5 para o aeroporto de Marco Polo.
O avião da EasyJet pousou no aeroporto de Charles de Gaulle, que fica bem longe de Paris, mas no próprio aeroporto tem um trem (siga a placa RER Train to Paris - B) para Chátelet Les Halles, que faz conexão com várias linhas de metrô.
Na saída do aeroporto tem um centro de informação onde você pode pegar mapas e pedir por ajuda.
Até o momento eu consegui me comunicar bem em inglês.
A única foto que tenho de hoje é uma que tirei do avião quando estava sobrevoando uma cadeia de montanhas.
Today I traveled from Venice to Paris by airplane. To reach in the Marco Polo airport you can catch an water bus to P. Roma, which is after the train station. After that you just need to catch a bus, line 5, to the airport.
The airplane of the EasyJest company landed in the Charles de Gaulle airport, which is far away from Paris, but in the airport there is a train station (follow the directions RER Train to Paris – B) to Chátelet les Halles,which makes connections to lots of subway lines.
In the airport there is an information center where you can get maps and ask for information.
I did not have problems to communicate in English.
The only photo I have is the one I took in the airplane when it was flying over the mountains.

Hoje, sábado, eu fui à igreja Adventista do Sétimo que fica próximo a estação de trem Port-Royal (Linha RER B) na rua Pierre Nicole, 24. Mais informações podem ser encontradas no endereço: http://www.parisinternational.adventiste.org/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1
Após o culto fui visitar a igreja de Sacré-Cceur que fica no topo de uma colina. A igreja é bonita, mas já vi outras mais bonitas e a vista não é tão bonita como me disseram. A única coisa que se pode ver são prédios e casas. É uma visão cinza de qualquer outra grande cidade.
Voltando ao hotel eu passei pelo arco do trinfo, que é um monumento colossal e muito bonito.

After the church worship I visited the Sacré-Cceur cathedral that is on the top of a hill. The church is beautiful, but I've seen more beautiful ones and the view is not so beautiful as I was told. The only thing that you see are buildings and houses. It is a gray view as in any other big city.
When I was coming back to the hotel I stopped in the Triumph Arc, which is a colossal monument and very beautiful.

Hoje eu passei praticamente o dia no museu do Louvre. O Louve é gigantesco e é possível gastar dias nele olhando todas as pinturas e antiguidades que lá estão. Eu realmente fiquei impressionado com o tamanho deste museu!
A fila para comprar tickets normalmente é grande, mas existe uma entrada chamada Carrossel que pouccas pessoas conhecem e e fila é bem menor.
A estação de metrô mais próxima do museu do Louve é o Palais-Royal (Linha 1)
Depois eu visitei a igreja de Notre Dame, que é um dos cartões postais e ponto turístico mais visitados na França.
A estação de trem mais próxima é a St-Michel (linha RER C)

Today I spend almost the day in the Louvre Museum. The Louvre is enormous and it is possible to spend days in it seeing all the paints and antiquities. I was really impressed with this museum.
The queue to by the tickets is big, but there is an entrance called Carrossel, where the queue is not so big.
The nearest subway station is in Palais-Royal (Line 1).
After that I visited the Notre Dame church, which is one of the most visited places in France.
The nearest train station is the St-Michel (Line RER C)

Hoje eu gastei a manhã somente na torre Eiffel. As filas para comprar os bilhetes são enormes e dentro da torre tem fila pra tudo. Tem fila pra subir escadas, filas pra pegar o elevador, etc. É preciso bastante paciência para visitar a torre Eiffel. A vista do topo da torre é indiscritível.
A estação de metrô mais próxima é a Bir-Hakeim (linha 6).
Depois eu fui caminhar pela avenida Champs-Élysées. Sinceramente não achei nada de glamuroso nela Ela é apenas uma avenida como qualquer outra, cheia de carros, pessoas e lojas. Achei que seria fácil achar lojas de perfumes, mas para minha surpresa foi algo difícil de encontrar.

Today I spent the morning only in the Eilffel tower. The queues to buy the tic.kets are big and inside the tower there are more queues. There are queues to claim the stairs, queues to catch the lift, etc. You need patience to visit this tower, but the view on its top is indescribable.
The nearest subway station is the Bir-Hakeim (Line 6).
After that, I walked in the Champs-Élysées avenue. Sincerely, in my opinion, I did not see any glamor. It is just an avenue like any other full of cars, people and shops. I thought that it would be easy to find a shop specialized in perfume, but for my surprise it was very difficult to find one.

Na minha opinião. Paris é uma grande cidade como qualquer outra com um transporte público muito bem elaborado. É possível ir a qualquer lugar da cidade usando trem, mentrô, ônibus, etc. Tudo integrado. Mas vou deixar todo o glamur de Paris por conta da mídia.
Eu pensei que teria problemas de comunicação, mas consegui me comunicar em inglês sem problema algum.
Obs. Esteja preparado para gastar mais dinheiro em Paris porque ela tem um custo de vida elevado.
In my opinion, Paris is a big city like any other, but with a elaborated public transport system. It is possíble to go anywhere by train, subway, bus, etc. Everything connected to each other, but all the glamor I'll attribute to the media.
I also thought that I would have communication issues, but I was able to communicate in English without any problem.
Ps. Be prepared to spend money in Paris because it has a high living cost.
