A estação de trem de Praga (Praha) é grande, moderna e bem sinalizada. Não tive problemas para achar os pontos de informação. Tanto na estação quanto nos comércios e ruas da cidade é fácil achar pessoas que falam inglês, por isso não tive nenhum problema de comunicação durante minha estadia em Praga. O trem que peguei em Katowice na Polônia também era moderno e confortável.
Obs. Não foi necessário passar pela imigração antes de atravessar a fronteira.
A cidade antiga de Praga é linda e não da para descrever em palavras a sua beleza arquitetônica. Acho que é por isso que ela ela chamada de pérola do oriente. A cultura em Praga é bastante valorizada. Em cada esquiva você encontra informações de concertos que estão ocorrendo em diversos lugares da cidade.
Euros e cartões de crédito ou débito não são aceitos em alguns lugares, então é recomendável que você tenha na sua carteira algum dinheiro local.

The train station in Prague (Praha) is very big, modern and very well signalized. I did not have any problem to find the information centers. In the station, in the shops and on the streets it is easy to find someone who speaks English, so I did not have any communication issues during my staying in Prague. The train I took in Katowice in Poland was modern and comfortable too.
Ps. You do not need to go to the immigration before crossing the border.
The Prague city is beautiful and I cannot describe its architectonic beauty. I think this is the reason Prague is known as the pearl of east. The culture in Prague is very disseminated. In every corner you will find information about concerts being performed in several places in the city.
Euros, credit cards and debt cards are not accepted in some places, so I recommend you to have some local money in your pocket.

23/06/2011 - Viena (Austria)
Decidi vir da República Tcheca para Viena de ônibus porque era a metade do preço da passagem de trem e levava o mesmo tempo, cerca de 5 horas de viagem. O ônibus era moderno e confortável. Tinha TV para assistir filmes, rádio para ouvir música de serviço de bordo.
As rodovias na República Tcheca e na Austrália são excelentes e a viagem foi muito tranquila! Na fronteira um oficial da Austrália entrou no ônibus para verificar os passaportes, mas foi tudo muito rápido e sem burocracia.
A passagem de ônibus pode ser comprada pela internet ou no escritório da empresa de ônibus que fica na estação central de trem de Praga. Eu optei por comprar no escritório já que estava por lá.
Você deve pegar o ônibus na estação rodoviária de Praga, que fica próximo a estação central de trem no seguinte endereço: Krizikova street, Prague 8, (Metro B & C line, Florenc station).
Obs. Não recomendo ir a pé pois o caminho até lá é confuso e você pode se perder. Para chegar lá eu precisei da ajuda de um pessoa que bondosamente nos mostrou o caminho.

O ônibus pode te deixar no aeroporto de Viena ou em uma estação de metrô. Você precisa decidir seu destino final no ato da compra da passagem.

I decided go to Vienna from Czech Republic by bus because the ticket was much cheaper than the train ticket and trip spend the same 5 hours. O bus was modern and comfortable. It had a TV to watch movies, radio and on board service.
The highways in Czech Republic and Austria are excellent and the trip was very nice! In the boarder an officer get in the bus to check the passports, but everything was quick and with no bureaucracy.
You can by the bus ticket on the Internet our in the office that is in the central train station in Prague. I bought it in the central train station because I was already there.
You have to catch the bus in the bus station in Prague. It is located next to the central train station in the following address: Krizikova street, Prague 8, (Metro B & C line, Florenc station).
Ps. I do not recommend you to go on foot because it is confusing and you may get lost. To arrive there I needed help from one person that kindly showed me the way.

Viena é a terceira maior cidade da Europa, mas independente disso ela impressiona pela sua infra-estrutura. Trens, bondes, ônibus e metrôs estão interligados, o que facilita bastante sua locomoção. Eu comprei uma passagem que me dava direito de usar ônibus e metrôs indeterminadamente por um período de 24 horas.
Hoje eu gastei o dia conhecendo os monumentos e prédios que fazem parte do ring (anel). Nos hotéis é fácil conseguir mapas e informações para conhecer a cidade. Outra coisa interessante é que a música clássica é muito difundida em Viena. Em cada quarteirão você encontra anúncios de concertos, peças, ópera. Ao vir para Viena você provavelmente será abordado por alguém para comprar algum ingresso de algum concerto.
A comunicação não será uma barreira para aqueles que falam inglês.
Tenha euros em sua carteira, pois nem todos as lojas e restaurantes aceitam cartões de crédito ou de débito.

Vienna is the 3rd biggest city in Europe, but on despite of that it impressed me by its infra. Trains, trans, buses and subways are connected, what makes your locomotion easy. I bought a ticket that gave me 24 hours to use any bus or subway.
Today I spent my day visiting the monuments and buildings that are in the ring. In the hotels you will find maps and information about it. One thing interesting is that the classic music is part of Vienna. In each corner you find advertisements about concerts. If you come to Vienna you probably will meet someone selling tickets.
The communication will not be a problem for those who speak English.
Make sure that you have some Euros in your pocket, because there are some shops and restaurantes that do not accept credit cards our debt cards.

Hoje é Sábado e como de costume fui a igreja onde tivemos um culto especial que celebrava a santa ceia.
Fui muito bem recebido e depois do culto fui convidado para participar do almoço com os membros.
A Igreja Advenstia do Sétimo Dia de língua inglesa fica na rua Toldgasse. Para maior informações consultar o site http://vienna-international.adventisten.at/startseite.html
Após o almoço eu fui ao palácio Schonbunn que impressiona pelos belíssimos jardins. O sábado é um ótimo dia para tomar tempo para apreciar a natureza e as obras criadas pelas mãos de Deus.

Today is Sabbath and I went to the church where we had a special worship to celebrate the holy supper.
I was very welcoe and after the service I was invited to have lunch with the membership.

After lunch I went to the Schonbunn palace, which has the most wonderful gardens I've ever seem. The Sabbath is the best day to take some time to contemplate the nature and all the things created by God's hands.
