Como fiz uma conexão em Madri para Berlin, a única coisa que pude conhecer foi o aeroporto.
O aeroporto de Madri é enorme e muito bonito, cheio de lojas e restaurantes e também tem um metrô para se deslocar pelos terminais. O aeroporto de Madri não deixa nada a desejar aos dos Estados Unidos (Texas e Chicado, onde estive). Tudo é muito bem sinalizado e o atendimento na imigração é bem rápido e sem burocracias. Não me perguntaram absolutamente nada antes de carimbar meu passaporte.
Só fico imaginando a vergonha que iremos passar na copa do mundo e nas olimpíadas com nossos aeroportos tupiniquim.
Unfortunately the only thing that I was able to visit in Madri was the aeroport due to my connection to Berlin.
The Madri airport is ruge, beautiful. There are lots of shops and restaurants. There are also a subway to take the people to the several gates. The Madri airport can be compared to the airports of Chicago and Texas, where I've been to. Every thing is very well sinalized, the imigration folks are very fast and there is no much burocracy. Actually they did not make any question to me before stamping my passport.

Charlotttenburg é um bairro muito bonito e tranquilo de Berlin que fica próximo ao aeroporto internacional de Tegel. O transporte público é muito bom (metro, bondes e ônibus) e permite um rápido e fácil acesso para os pontos turísticos principais da cidade.
Abaixo está algumas fotos da vizinhança de Charlottenburg.
Charlotttenburg is a nice and quiet neigbourhood in Berlin that is close to the international Tegel Airport. The public transport is very good (subway, tram and bus). It allows you to go to the main touristics points in the city.

O Centro de Berlin é muito legal! Em cada esquina é possível visitar um lugar histórico, monumentos e museus. É interessante ver a mistura de arquitetura moderna com antiga.
No mês de Junho o dia amanhece as 4:00am e só vai anoitecer as 10:00 pm, o que permite que você tenha mais tempo para conhecer bastante coisa em um dia.
Embora os pontos históricos mais importantes não ficam tão distantes uns dos outros, é necessário estar fisicamente preparado para caminhar bastante, pois tem muita coisa para ser vista.
As fotos abaixo mostram os principais pontos de Berlin. Eu levei cerca de 10 horas para conhecer tudo. Esses lugares ficam nas "proximidades" da estação Alexander Platz, seguindo acima pela rua Kam Liebknecht.
The Berlin down town is very cool! It is possible to visit historic places, monuments and museums in every corner. It is interesting to see the old architecture combined to the modern ones.
In June the sun raises at 4:00 am and the sunset happens at 10:00 pm, so you will have time visit lots of places in one single day.
The most import important historic places are not located so far from each other, but you will need to be prepared to walk a lot, because there are so many things to see and to visit.
The photos below show the main points in Berlin. I took about 10 hours to visit them. Those places are in the proximity of the Alexander Platz station, following through the Liebknecht Street.
